Garbage. Defund, abolish, and prosecute is the bare minimum
Dems coalescing around 5 restrictions on ICE, I'm told:

DHS required to cooperate with state probes (big)
CBP stays at border
warrants for arrests
IDs, bodycams
ICE out of churches, schools

"That package unites a lot of Dems," Sen Chris Murphy tells me on the pod:

As Trump scrambles to contain the damage from the latest ICE horrors, Senator Chris Murphy offers a sharp indictment of Trump-ICE lawlessness—and explains how Dems can meet the urgency of the moment.

The biggest risk in this moment is something sociologists call “symbolic compliance.”

That’s when an institution that is violating civil rights gives the public just enough symbolic victories that accountability efforts lose steam before there has been any meaningful change.

While glad to see Bovino humbled, I really don’t have any higher opinion of Homan—a cruel, cold, corrupt, calculating bureaucrat who’s devoted more of his career to mass deportation than almost anyone. He’s the architect of child separation.

Note: the opposition *is winning*, the opposition has not won. If this ends with ICE still in existence and the killers and kidnappers evading justice, we have lost.
The Minnesota civil resistance campaign has been remarkably successful:

- The GOP governor candidate dropped out
- Numerous DOJ officials resigned
- GOP members of Congress are speaking out; business feels pressure
- Noem has been relieved of operational responsibility

The campaign is winning.

We stop when ICE is a bad memory and a scorch mark on the earth
Posted this yesterday and then today they get rid of Bovino which is disheartening actually. This isn’t a win. It’s placation for the most gullible people in congress to sell their constituents as progress and some sort of self accountability. Don’t let up.

If you support the existence of ICE you support the murder of Good and Pretti
Majority of the country now wants to abolish and/or dismantle ICE and yet Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y. told the caucus the message had to be to “restrain, reform and restrict ICE.”

Once again it looks like Schumer is about to choke after getting a massive opportunity.

So pathetic and weak.
Senate Democrats plot strategy as DHS standoff deepens heading into shutdown week

Why are ICE agents given access to California Highway Patrol facilities? Why are California resources being spent to aid the Gestapo?

stopicenet on Instagram: "A group of masked federal immigration ‘agents’ were seen staging at the California Hwy Patrol office in Monterey Park Saturday Morn…"
A group of masked federal immigration ‘agents’ were seen staging at the California Hwy Patrol office in Monterey Park Saturday Morning 1/24/2026. Legal observers asked the ‘agents’ why they were using fake license plates but they declined to answer. Instead they stood in the parking lot on display before attempting to enter the office, however nobody was home. The CHP is restricted from coordinating with federal immigration authorities (ICE) under state law, specifically the California Values Act (SB 54), which limits local law enforcement’s involvement in federal immigration enforcement — Or so we’re told. One of the ‘agents’ (flannel shirt) was spotted days earlier switching out fake plates on the same black Ford Expedition. He seemed to brag about wearing a mask despite California’s “No Secret Police Act” which prohibits law enforcement from wearing face coverings to conceal their identity. Coincidentally, he was unaware that community members had already spotted him earlier that morning at a Starbucks in Long Beach next to LBX and the Hampton Inn hotel. After about 25 minutes the ‘agents’ left @cityofmontereypark. Several ICE convoys were later spotted throughout Inglewood and other parts of South Central LA where community members were on the ground alerting nearby vendors and workers. @cagovernor @longbeachcity @mayorofla , we continue to gather indisputable evidence of license plate swapping and tampering by federal immigration agents, along with collaboration between local and state authorities. But the community has seen little action from you aside from press conferences. We don’t need press conferences. We need action. Reminder- You have a constitutional right to photograph, videotape and document the activities of law enforcement. This includes local police, federal agents, and whoever these secret police running around in masks claim to be. Stay aware, stay alert, be vigilant.

It is time for the 3rd amendment to finally shine
"Housing ICE agents is not a neutral act."

"Private actors are not obligated to materially support state violence. Hotels are private businesses."

"That is precisely the dynamic the Third Amendment was written to reject."
#USA #Housing #Deportation #EthnicCleansing
Hotels Should Deploy the 3rd Amendment and Refuse to House ICE Agents
ICE is acting as a standing army occupying US cities. This is what the 3rd Amendment was written for.

that's not how anything works they're lying and destroying evidence hope that helps
And what is happening inside ICE detention centers? 404 Media also learned that the federal government claimed that the day after it was sued for allegedly abusing detainees at an ICE detention center, a “system crash” deleted nearly two weeks of surveillance footage from inside the facility.
ICE Says Critical Evidence In Abuse Case Was Lost In 'System Crash' a Day After It Was Sued
The government also said "we don't have resources" to retain all footage and that plaintiffs could supply "endless hard drives that we could save things to."

The long tail of the fund the police movement is killing free society.
Most of this year's ICE budget comes from last year's reconciliation bill. House Democratic leaders discouraged its members from offering amendments eliminating that funding. Didn't want the party to come across as anti-ICE.
