Happy & genuinely relieved at this. I have been hearing the opposite so very pleased. Ecuador says no to foreign military bases, rewriting the constitution and potentially removing important environmental / indigenous protections, increased political funding and reduced number of assembly members 🙅🏼♀️

So I’ve been “minding” a bunch of teens for the last three weeks. It’s been fun exposing them to new culture language food people nature… They’ve not done badly at absorbing learning appreciating. BUT! I said they could have fried chicken tonight if they could tell me what the locals call it 1/
