I make film zines. It used to be my job to write about weird movies, it's not my job now but it's still good to do. I put lots of work into the zines because I don't like essays to be basic. My rabbit was sick today which was fortunately fairly brief. He has bitten my hand a good 50 times, since he gets lividly pissed when I coax him back from the brink of death. Now that he's feeling better he's continued to milk it by convincing me to handfeed him while he loafs.

We need to talk about the rise of "smol bean fascism" where you have all the guns and the immunity but the really scary people are the ones with whistles and phone cameras and they're giving you generational trauma and ptsd by filming you killing people for no reason

When you spend time with "livestock" animals, it's obvious that they display a wide range of emotions. This is incredible not because it's surprising, but because humanity has done everything it could to subjugate them and they still have an inherent dignity, like all living creatures do.

Was at the Graymalkin Lane podcast retreat last week, talked about the X-Men, did a PowerPoint about lesbian vampires, and stayed in the hot tub for as long as I humanly could. I'm not in any photos though because I'm the photographer lmao. The trip is over but the group chat continues ❤️

I'll be living in Milwaukee starting April Fool's Day. I have a temp sublet but I'll be looking for a place to live for me/my pets and also a job, so that's slightly nerve-wracking. But let's not stress about that yet, it's two months out and there's much to stress about in the meantime 😅

Damn, that's rough. Sal Buscema was that guy. One of those Spider-Man artists that I read pretty early on in my getting into comics and he really made the character feel next level. 90 years old is a great run, but it always feels too soon. Appreciate the stories, man. Rest easy.

Very sorry this happened, quoting just to add that I'm being totally dead serious that like 20% of my job as a creative over the last couple years is filtering through scam job offers that are getting better and better at seeming legit. Be careful out there 💖
