Great thread, about community-built resistance, that is very encouraging;
I came to Minneapolis to report on what's going on, and one of the main questions I showed up with is "just what is the scale of the resistance?" After all, we're all used to the news calling Portland a "war zone" or whatever when it's just some protests in one part of town.

I honestly am amazed that more folks can't put together the obvious strings between The citizens United ruling, our political system being broken, every industry getting consolidated by monopolies, and why people like Musk have most of the wealth.

Anything banned for use in war should be more than banned from use on Civilians. Tear Gas and other similar gas agents should be entirely banned. It's dangerous excessive force and is used to limit, undermine,endanger and intimidate people using their first amendment rights.

Very much worth talking about how bookbans hurt in a lot of ways that are not easily measurable. Representation matters and they are afraid of queer voices and the power of our storytelling.
