Today I was laid off from Dark Horse Comics. While devastating news, I'm so proud of what I helped make there and am grateful to have worked alongside such amazing coworkers and creators.

I saw the news late last night, didn't sleep until early this morning and barely. It's just not right. Nothing feels like it's going to be okay, not with these demons running the show.
I'm terrified not just of what they will do but how "normal people" are going to go about like nothing is wrong.

Sir Terry Pratchett is best understood as one of the most interesting, deeply ethical practical (I would say Pragmatist but I cede to actual experts) philosophers of the late 20th Century who just happened to work in deconstructed fantasy literature as his medium.

Honestly, though, begs the question... why did this even occur? Everyone involved should be fired or quit or whatever the process is. I'm not actually thankful they rescinded it so much as wanting accountability for why it even happened in the first place.
