7 years ago I wrote a poem called Proxima Centauri B about how commercial space exploration is nothing but a distraction from rampant ecological destruction, but never published it till today.

When we're all in bunkers on Proxima Centauri b, who’s to say we won't destroy those oceans...?

We’ve officially reached the point where it’s impossible to tell legacy media headlines from The Onion.

Gross.

So they’re just directly murdering Americans now, too.
The Trump administration on Tuesday froze $10 billion in funding for child care subsidies, social services and cash support for low-income families in five states controlled by Democrats, claiming without evidence widespread fraud throughout those states

Yeesh I hate being repetitive, and yet...

It's time once again to remind my fellow Americans that there is no mechanism whereby state run elections can be suspended or canceled by the federal government. None. So don't go along with any garbage you hear to that effect. Laugh, and get ready to vote.

Former Special Counsel, Jack Smith, explicitly states:

"President Trump was by a large measure the most culpable and most responsible person in this conspiracy. These crimes were committed for his benefit. The attack that happened at the Capitol, part of this case, does not happen without him."

The United States is behaving like a rogue state. The President has carried out an illegal act of war, kidnapped a foreign head of state, and is now threatening military action against NATO allies. This is a constitutional crisis.

Impeachment must be on the table.

Still the best poem of the year.

Proof
by Cornelius Eady, for Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s inauguration.

In case you need some hope and a reminder that throughout history, at even the worst, most horrific moments, there have been extraordinary, dauntless people raising us up towards a beautiful future.

People seem angry but calling for better, accessible public transport for all is THE work of this century—it’s not a criticism of people who live in transportation dead zones. You should be angry at the people who killed public transportation in your area, not this guy who’s just saying a logic.
