I just want it to be really clear, to people from out of the area, if they see pictures of fires in Minneapolis: THEY WERE STARTED BY ICE. NOT BY PROTESTERS. NOT BY RESIDENTS.
So not only are they shooting our citizens they are setting the city on fire. #MFD did respond. Someone get an Air Quality check in #Minneapolis with the volume of Flash Bangs & Chemical Irritants.
🚨BREAKING: Multiple fires have broken after ICE unleashed ANOTHER ONSLAUGHT of flash bang grenades and chemical gas at unarmed Minneapolis protesters in WAR-LIKE attack. LIVE NOW ⬇️

there's a link in the replies but the long and short of it is: it's zinc chloride, which can basically cause heavy metal toxicity that can cause permanent respiratory damage as well as liver damage.

South Minneapolis, I just woke up with my eyes burning, from all the gas on the other side of town, so we need to be paying attention to this too
I was supposed to be in bed an hour ago but sending links and videos to people so they know to avoid the green gas (zinc chloride).

Once a lab steward, always a lab steward.

Seriously, I was a chemist twenty years ago, you do NOT want heavy metal toxicity. It fucks you up in weird ways.

A claim on social media that tear gas is a chemical weapon banned in war but legal for law enforcement purposes is true.

It should be noted that ICE doesn't investigate fraud or corruption. It's literally not their job. They have no mechanism to know or locate people who are under investigation for fraud or corruption. Don't let them claim this obvious lie.

It is difficult to explain how dire this situation is. There are 2,200 ICE agents in Minneapolis right now. They are heavily armed and are operating with no rules. The MPD only has 550 officers. StP even fewer. How can they protect us against an invading army? Because that's what this is.
Federal immigration officers are pulling out of a Louisiana crackdown and heading to Minneapolis in an abrupt pivot from an operation that drew protests around New Orleans and aimed to make thousands of arrests, according to documents obtained by The Associated Press.

People — including four pastors — are gathered at Renee Good’s memorial this morning in Minneapolis.

A larger memorial near the end of the block was demolished overnight.

Clergy, who just help de-escalate a situation with a heckler (whose heckling was…vague), are now singing “We Rise.”

They LIE: It’s murder.

She was not a threat; no one was in danger. Multiple eyewitness videos confirm that.

This is an extrajudicial execution of a caring, nonviolent community member trying to protect her neighbors—period. Our tax dollars at work.

Federal agents aren’t trying to keep the peace. They want violence to escalate so that Trump can declare martial law.

They shot a reverend in the head with pepper balls while he was praying in front of an ICE facility. If that doesn’t tell you where we are as a country, nothing will.

- Fateh had nothing to do with faulty tabulation
- Frey finished with 30%, pathetic for an incumbent
- Maybe pay attention to the guy actually hurt, who came out of nowhere to grab 20%: DeWayne Davis.
