While I don't agree with everything in @rosenstead.bsky.social's piece, she's bang on about One Nation Cons not being Liberals

I mentioned this in a recent article, while some remaining Tories are gettable tactical votes, they're not long term switchers

When I made my blogpost on this I was asked if the flaggers were actually aware if what they were doing would be percieved as racist and if my Nazi Germany comparison was just. I said yes with some doubts, but it's safe to say my gut feeling was 100% correct.
Wherever we looked for the prominent flaggers and leaders of this movement, we found people smugglers and sex doll salesmen, people with dubious criminal pasts and people willing to put in a good word for Adolf Hitler.

I can't stop thinking about what Macron said about this last month.

“We have been incredibly naive in entrusting our democratic space to American and Chinese social networks, whose interests are not at all the survival or proper functioning of our democracies.”
Elon Musk is deliberately using his platform to poison our politics and divide our country.

It's time for the government to wake up to the threat he poses to our democracy.

A little post I wrote on the current direction the leadership of the Liberal Democrats seem to be taking, and why it's fundamentally misguided.

Not convinced we should be putting companies out of business and centralising wealth even further in the name of further oppressing 1% of the population but if you want a perfect encapsulation of rightwing ideology, this is it.

I don't understand what she's complaining about, they still do the first thing, all she has to do is open up a Vogue and her problems with magazines will be solved.
Glamour UK Magazine made 9 trans women as their collective Women of the Year

Instead of offering congratulations, JK Rowling naturally tried insulting them instead

Glamour’s response, however, is priceless

Please see below my article for Lib Dem Voice titled 'Have we forgotten what we stand for?'.

In it I talk about why so many young and diverse members feel disillusionment with the party and what I believe needs to change.

Have come back on here for party reasons.

Looking for your #1 vote for federal council. I’ll post my manifesto in the thread.

But MAINLY, please push our president candidates to act better regarding the absolute scandal re gender / quota.

For what it's worth, she is the first female president to not be named Mary, so points for diversity.

Lib Dems, I know there are many concerns about the updates to Lib Dem quotas - and your voices deserve to be heard.

I've already shared concerns that have been raised with me but
please share your feedback where I'll take this straight to Lib Dem leadership.

Very upset about the rug pull from HQ over gender quotas in Federal Elections over the frankly awful preliminary ECHR guidance that'll be meaningless in a few months anyway. It's quite clear the EA is no longer fit for purpose.

Another post for #LibDems federal elections: please give April Preston a top preference for Federal Council. We need folks who live their liberalism and better working-class representation at the top of our party: April's a great choice for that.
