I was thinking of cleaning this up so it looked better, but I figured that it suited his embrace of enshittification.
I'm begging and praying this won't prove to be the image that keeps me up tonight.

Wow, they filmed that quickly!
I imagine it was extremely disturbing

Wow, that seemed quick and decisive!
Great to see that Ryan Dancey's embrace of plagiarizing AI and his denigration of the games created for his company was a step too far for AEG.

Now we can happily buy games like the "Let's Go to Japan" sequel without having to worry about them being AI slop.
Today I want to share that Ryan Dancey and AEG have parted ways.
This is not an easy post to write. Ryan has been a significant part of AEG’s story, and I am personally grateful for the years of work, passion, and intensity he brought to the company. We have built a lot together.

The pro-AI, anti-game-designer nonsense Suz is quoting below is on LinkedIn, in the comments on a post by the SAME PERSON about how AI told him to *walk* to the car wash. (The cognitive dissonance is killing me!) Here's what I replied over there:

It never ceases to amuse me that @2000ad.bsky.social would not exist IPC not got wind of the prerelease Star Wars hype, and yet gets to celebrate its anniversary 3 months before that film.

The two have always been Ying and Yang in my head.

Beyond outrage, always check the FACTS in what Farage says.

It wasn't "the day after" Mandelson story broke, but six days later, and it was also on FT front. Reform story wasn't "silly". Head of Kent DOGE told FT they hadn't found any savings, denied it when Farage had a tantrum, and had to resign.

This is all very good and interesting, but I think one thing to say is that as someone who's currently experiencing a three cornered fight, the thing is as the world gets more multi-party deducing where your tactical vote should go becomes trickier and trickier.
🧵/ With tactical voting ever more common, who do voters back when only two parties have a chance in their seat?

Instead of "the left isn't paying enough attention to these machine gods" they're claiming to build, perhaps we should write an article about how effective altruists brand themselves "left", ask who is writing these articles, and trace their cults and sources of funding.

The left was pretty excited about the idea of an open internet before it got carved up into digital fiefdoms and dominated by e-commerce. It’s just hard to get excited about new systems that are focused on privatising wealth and increasing precarity for the majority.

The thing is, even if you could pump out professional quality board games at the touch of a button, what that would mean is that companies like AEG are toast. Because if they can do it, anyone would be able to.
Reposting with ALT because this kind of phenomenal disdain and disrespect from within the industry literally against two of their own titles and the designer who made them is important to recognize.

Love that AI, a thing we hate and don’t want, steals everything, ruins everything, shittifies everything. Drinks our water, plagiarizes our art, pisses all over our information fidelity, drives kids to suicide, serves the right-wing, and fucks up our devices and services. Good job, techbros!
