I’m writing the dialogue for the Summoner Wars comic! It’s really satisfying to bring art and plot together like this. It’s a fun, bouncy, eccentric world too, suits me enormously. screenrant.com/summoner-war...

Here’s the additional temptation @lizbethmyles.bsky.social needs to watch “The Great Vegetable Rebellion”: Tybo the anthropomorphic carrot is played by Stanley (“Star Trek”’s Cyrano Jones) Adams!

The first few episodes of “Lost in Space” maintained that semi-serious tone. They even encounter a spooky space derelict, which is another thing that carried over to the movie.

I missed the first episode of Batman because I was already a Lost in Space fan (yes, I'm old, saw them originally broadcast). I still love the original four episode edited from the original pilot, before it devolved into the monster of the week show.

Definitely one of my earliest TV loves. "Pipe down, Piper!"

Really surprised we've never seen a gritty, dark reboot from the generation that was 5 when they first saw this.

Other than Doctor Who, Marine boy has to be one of my earliest memories of watching TV (largely because of the theme music).

The new Patrons-only episode of Telefantasy Time Jump is out now, in which @lizbethmyles.bsky.social and I chat about 1965's Marine Boy and the changes across three seasons of Lost in Space! Oh, the pain. #LostinSpace www.patreon.com/posts/telefa...

Er sorry I should have been clearer: order any of the books in the series and get an EXCLUSIVE ebook with bonus shenanigans involving our Fallen angel cast, a birthday party and a decidedly over-friendly magical fungus.

@lizbethmyles.bsky.social @paulcornell.bsky.social I found the original "Machine Stops" as a free listen on Audible. Only 1 hr 35 min. Read by Carey Mulligan, no less. My memory of it was correct: it does stay on the woman, and the son's adventures outside are told to her when they meet up later.

Some prop maker put "Frank" on an ID card that was readable on screen, without the producers' or Falk's knowledge. Falk always maintained that Columbo's first name is "Lieutenant."
