Spotted at the beautifully atmospheric Wilton’s Music Hall near Whitechapel. Saveloys, pats of butter and coffee as a real luxury.

Came across a rather odd TARDIS or two over the years: Chelsea flower show, between St Paul’s and the Barbican and an eccentric front door in Frome. All strangely charming, as if from an alternate universe with Peter Cushing about to emerge.

@drmatthewsweet.bsky.social Just watched your interview with Graeme Harper - fascinating stuff. A marvellous interview - you really got him to open up despite the fact that he’s clearly such a modest, humble man. Many thanks!

Lee Miller @ Tate Britain. Her war photos are brilliant, capturing a sense of alienation and dislocation. Fantastic exhibition, if a little too crowded at times.

Lee Miller at Tate Britain. I’m not usually interested in “fashion” photos, but she added a touch of unsettling surrealism and brutality. Brilliant exhibition.

@radiofreeskaro.bsky.social #fluidlinks I have a real fondness for the old “pure historicals”. If you could bring them back, where and when would you set a story?

#fluidlinks Apart from Doctors and companions, which actor gives your favourite ever performance in Doctor Who, both classic and 21st Century?

Happy 60th Birthday, Thunderbirds. My favourite episode, amongst many, was this.

Peter Davison (Doctor Who obvs) giving a wonderful performance in episode 5 of the BBC tv version of Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. He plays a space cow that disconcertingly wants to be eaten by the customers at the restaurant at the end of the universe - the best scene in the whole programme.

Hey @radiofreeskaro.bsky.social, @legopolis.bsky.social, @freyburg.bsky.social
After years of waiting, for good or for bad, I am finally about to enter what I believe is now known as The Sandbaggerverse. I wonder who is to blame for pricking my curiosity? 🧐🧐🧐

Trump really did get booed at the FIFA championship in New Jersey. He also took the championship trophy home. Yeah.🙄 The Chelsea team had to be given a replica because Orange Jeezus has such sticky fingers. I wonder how he’s going to transform his “souvenir” into a victory for himself? What a loser.
