I barely have time or the inclination to call my insurance to change my primary care doctor when the prior one leaves the state (has happened twice in 6 years). The idea that I would enjoy calling around to negotiate my health care plan is one held by people who’ve never have to finagle real life.

We keep receiving those holiday catalogs with gifts that might appeal to “elderly ladies,“ and I was miffed until I saw the addressee is the woman who had this house for decades before dying in her 80s in 2013. (She had good taste, though, so she too would have swiftly deposited them in the bin.)

This opinion defies logic. Why can’t people be called what they want to be called? The idea that the bigots’ right to be bigoted overrides common sense is nothing short of infuriating. It isn’t hard! I teach people and ask them what they want to be called. Always have. NBD. 6th Circuit is tripping.
BREAKING: The Sixth Circuit, in a 10-7 en banc decision, holds that an Ohio school district's anti-bullying policy that requires students to use children's preferred pronouns is likely unconstitutional on these facts.

Judge Murphy, a Trump appointee, writes the court's decision.

In seven days my young alter ego is cyberbullied and attacked while exploring clubs, casinos and horror games, all with parental controls in place. Is the platform safe for children – or an ‘X-rated paedophile hellscape’?

When I think of possible Cuomo voters, I recall the (also famous) wife of a rock star/actor (from the 70s forward). She was anti-Trump but started following/retweeting lots of those sensational NYC crime accounts. She also became very irate about car congestion pricing. Twitter made her so angry.

Hold on. What about shiplap and grey walls? Or does this mean Staten Island?
The educated liberal big city US folks outraged at Trump's renovation of Lincoln bathroom really need to scroll some Facebook of their less established relatives and friends to see what kind of aesthetic resonates with Trump's target audience.

I rock rough and stuff with my tofu puffs 🎶

(Sorry, but this great tip gave me an earworm.)
Go get yourself some fried tofu puffs and stick them in your freezer. Take them out anytime to add to soups. Unlike frozen fresh tofu it's super easy to cut through out of the freezer. I always have a few bags in there. Cheap, easy and FAST.

I’m not deriding their appearance, because that ain’t cool, but: it is startling how many of the people involved in the Young Republicans texting scandal look like they hail from the Island of Lost Huckabees.

I never see people with their overall vibe in regular life, so it’s weird.
