Very honoured to publish this opinion piece by Halil Ibrahim Bahar and his daughter Hacer, about the criminalisation of Syrian refugees in Turkey.

Het was razend spannend tot de bekendmaking, maar uiteindelijk mag Leuven en dus niet Molenbeek of Namen zich in 2030 Europese Culturele Hoofdstad noemen. “Als er één stad is die er klaar voor is én die het kan uitvoeren, dan is het wel Leuven.”
