Having been invited in 2010 to an Epstein dinner with Woody Allen and then Prince Andrew in New York, the magazine editor, Tina Brown, replied: “What the fuck is this . . .? The paedophile’s ball?” Brown’s reaction should have been everyone’s.

Not pictured: Haruki Murakami’s wife, or indeed whoever is cooking, cleaning, paying bills, running errands, doing the laundry, answering emails, etc

like yea his routine is goals, but let’s not lie to ourselves about all the invisible work others are doing to enable him to have that routine

Help Nikki out if you can. I'm in Canary Wharf tomorrow which doesn't feel like the best location for kindness, beauty or wonder, but you never know!
If you are going to be out and about in London between now and Wednesday, and you want to hunt down kindness, beauty and wonder would you please consider joining me in a tiny experiment? More detail in the image below, survey link is here: form.jotform.com/260223076797...

There is a man on the train chewing a bagel so wetly, it sounds like rain sluicing down my neighbour's drainpipe in a downpour.

I think @sarahjeong.bsky.social said it's because they devalue women's labor and a LOT of this Scary Logistics stuff comes from people who don't understand that basically all of the civic life they enjoy is created with the help of free labor, largely by women.
Tho I will say, in his defense, he's not the first person to be confused by how quickly the romance authors & readers can whip up finely tuned logistics out of nothing. 😂
I mostly just stay off Twitter altogether but after double checking that the Walter Hudson post was still up I ran across this and just had to share so the Romancelandians who bought hand warmers could hear about the PROFESSIONAL GRADE LOGISTICS.

Interesting hypothesis about the fate of both TikTok and Oracle in this thread:
It is important to know that despite its prominence TikTok loses billions of dollars and tweaking algorithms lays havoc to your ad sales. Oracle is gonna destroy this thing and it’s going to combine with the data center debt and consume it whole

"Who's really popular in London? Whose coat tails should we hang off? Great, and make sure you copy one of their memes that has a local connotation of being led off to die. Sorted."

Looking forward to this campaign performing even worse than the mad Tory woman whose name I can't even remember now.

I just watched that episode! I can only think it was a Yorkshire rescue centre - if they filmed in autumn there might be other kittens called toffee apple and bonfire.
