i have to mute replies to this post. i was a noncitizen for most of my life and i can understand feeling triggered by the repeat references to renee good's citizenship status.
but people attacking me for being insufficiently woke on immigration is, well, triggering a lot of repressed anxiety 🤷🏻♀️

i think it is ok to reiterate that the victim as a us citizen. yes, noncitizens are equally entitled to human rights. but also, it's important to illustrate how ice isn't about immigration at all

The state of the art in robotics is amazing and also it takes like 10 minutes to for it to load a dishwasher and it’s marginally better than a coin flip on whether it will break any dishes in the process.

The sheer number of videos of the shooting is horrific, but in the vein of what @prisonculture.bsky.social has been saying, it proves how many people cared enough to show up where ICE was and record them. It wasn't just one or two legal observers, and when Good was shot, they didn't abandon her.
