The more I think about the DC press slagging AOC for a lack of FP depth while Donald Trump is President, twice, is making me angry enough to explode. The fuck is wrong with the journalists that they're like this

My concern with this or any number of other long-term disasters whose seeds were planted in this presidency is that they will come to a head under a Democratic president and the press will refuse to connect the dots and the public will just blame whoever is there at the moment.
Very important that we forget how intentional this all was, so when the inevitable disasters come, the regime can pretend it could have happened to anyone.

What's wild is that in this case you can really see how subject-independent the narrative setting is, like, it doesn't matter what woman it is, they know and reach for the same file
I think journalists at major outlets love their role as "agenda setters" and with AOC they are jumping at the opportunity to create a narrative about someone they view as a newer player on the world stage. It's all about them reinforcing their own legitimacy and power.

American Samoans have, despite not actually having a real franchise, committed their blood to the United States, and we're talking about adding states -for CANADA-? DANES!?

I know its small, but its incredibly disrespectful to talk about Greenland or Alberta as our 51st state when American Samoa is by per capita the state or territory that commits the most to the US military personnel

Equipped with SEPR rocket booster, the Mirage was able, not to shoot down the U2 but to photograph it and bring back evidence of the intrusion.
The Mirage reached an altitude of 19,812m and caught up with the U2, which was flying at Mach 0.9, compared to Mach 1.7 for the Mirage.

The USA has already deployed U2 aircraft in the skies of allied countries without their consent.
In June 1967, French radars detected a U2 heading towards a French nuclear facility.
A Mirage IIIE was quickly dispatched from the with the mission of intercepting the intruder.

Acknowledge you've noticed us, see what happens.”

A very strong belief I have is that it should he essentially impossible for any judge or legislator to own individual stocks

You can put your money into a TSP index or go work in the private sector!
NEW: The Supreme Court will begin requiring litigants in March to list the stock ticker for each party involved in a case to make it easier to check if a justice has a conflict of interest that might require recusal. #SCOTUS
