I want a bill that states clearly that the presence of a person in ICE gear (as well as the presence of any known employee or former employee of ICE in or out of gear) represents a present threat to civilian life and that civilians have qualified immunity in their response, but this is a good start.
NEWS --> Reps Eric Swalwell and Dan Goldman are introducing a new bill to strip ICE officers of qualified immunity, making lawsuits and prosecutions easier. They also say agent who killed Renee Good should be prosecuted in Minnesota.

I almost never open Instagram, but every time I do now I get served different fake videos of NYPD arresting ICE officers. The quality is very high, and the only reason I know they're fake is that it's something I'd already know about if it happened
I also think the AI video creators are SHOCKINGLY better than they were even just a month or six weeks ago.
I saw a really distressing TikTok about viral AI slop related to ICE (both pro and anti) and even a pretty smart, savvy person would fall for most of these videos. They're scary good.

The speed with which they’re getting better is scary and cool. Claude Code is very good and I genuinely feel like people need to use it just to see where we are and where things are going.

Dangerous, reckless behavior. He should have been fired after this incident.
The case involved Ross punching out a man's window and tasing him while he attempted to drive away; the man shook him off his car, giving Ross injuries that required 33 stitches. The man called 911 to report that he'd been assaulted by ICE and was later convicted of assault on a federal officer.
