Today's Black Fact:

Jane Bolin was the first Black woman to attend Yale Law School in 1931 and became the first Black female judge in the United States. Thanks to her leadership employers were moved to hire people based on their skills, as opposed to discriminating against them because of race!

Those MAGA that are sentient (20%? 30%? -- need a snap Quinnipiac poll) realize that ICE assaults could be turned on them.
Trumpworld assumed MAGA-adjacent parts of the culture would thrill to ICE brutality. ICE recruits among fans of UFC, Nascar, military tactical equipment.

But even MAGA-friendly constituencies and parts of the culture are now rejecting ICE and mass deportations. 5/

He’s a political operative with zero law-enforcement background calling the shots on immigration enforcement.

Karp's a craven+reprehensible figure. He should be shunned by the legal profession.
As I wrote last year, Brad Karp brought shame on the legal profession, and he has also brought shame on himself.

Important clip here. Non-political people are out on the streets of Minneapolis to defend their neighbors peacefully. Authoritarians and anarchists are lighting fires—achieving nothing and in fact setting back nonviolent efforts. And people like Will are out filming them asking them to be peaceful.
After the Pretti shooting, one of those guys straight-up suckerpunched me for “filming faces”… as I filmed him and fully-masked friends lighting fires directly in front of the dozens of gathered press crews. Nonsensical; just dudes wanting someone to give them a reason. Not that different from ICE.
