this is a general warrant and it's specifically the kind of warrant the framers passed the 4th amendment to outlaw
WOW. @haleaziz.bsky.social with a new scoop: ICE now gets a running list of every person who is going to be taking a domestic flight inside the United States from the TSA and runs it through their database looking for targets. This explains the Babson College student's arrest.

New: a suit filed in federal court late Weds alleges high-ranking cops in CPD—& other city officials—ignored a detective's complaints about fellow officer Marco Torres.

He's accused of "physically, mentally and sexually" abusing her, intimidating witnesses, and trying to put out a hit on her:
CPD leaders knew cop proposed hiring hitman to kill fellow detective, new federal lawsuit alleges
Attorneys say their client has faced years of violent abuse and threats at the hands of another detective while top brass and city officials have refused to investigate or discipline him.

Four days later the snail got to Toad's house and gave him the letter from Frog. Toad was very pleased to have it.

This has to be the most reckless thing Disney has ever done with their IP and I cannot wait for them to figure out what a bad idea this is.
BREAKING: Disney is making a $1 billion investment in OpenAI, and will allow its iconic characters to be on the company's Sora AI video generator.

I made a Chrome extension that swaps Times New Roman for Calibri on every site or just .gov. It also had Open Sans and Open Dyslexic, because f**k these people.

I’m waiting for Google’s approval for it to install automatically, but you can download it and install it in 90 seconds. Instructions 👇

can't get over the team behind the mcdonald's ad wanting credit for all the late nights and long hours they spent prompting for clips. you've somehow invented a form of ersatz creativity that recreates the suffering inherent to all creative work without any valuable output or intellectual growth
there’s just a certain type of person who would show up to your writer’s group wanting praise for presenting work but violently rejecting any form of constructive criticism that might improve it, and that right there is the target market for AI

People are going to die because of the pending insurance premium hikes. I know the terrain of discourse is inconsistent and goes through a tumble cycle every 24 hours, but I really think we need to hone in on this reality and drive it home for people.

As with everything he says, this is wildly uninformed. Formula keeps getting better and saves lives. And modern research indicates that outcomes are roughly the same. There are reasons to breastfeed but your child isn’t suffering if you don’t

404 Media is making a print zine about the surveillance tactics used by ICE, and how people are resisting this tech.

Why? Print media is cool. Also, 404 Media has watched ICE grow from an already horrifying organization into a deportation force that is better funded than most militaries.

We're half a decade into studies finding that improving airflow in classrooms will reduce disease transmission enormously, and that bleaching surfaces etc. does very little. And yet nothing changes. Waves of flu and colds wash over schools, and the schools pretend it's an act of God.
