This is the exact right message. And the "Tim and Eric" style video is the exact right format.
Right now, Democrats have the power to defund and abolish ICE. We should do it. This is about right and wrong—and the murder we are seeing on the streets is just plain wrong. Anyone who supports funding DHS and ICE is supporting the murder of Americans. We can stop this.

Everybody keeps saying Ilhan Omar was about to knock that guy out, but I’m pretty sure she had a pen or something in her hand and was actually about to introduce him to the gom jabbar.

The constitutional violations, murder, cruelty, and chaos were all just part of the job. His only mistake was making the Big Man look bad.

They seriously expected to be greeted as liberators by some imagined long-suffering silent majority when they rolled into town and started owning the libs. It never occurred to them that the people they live to argue with online aren't just role playing.
It's all fun and games when you're able to convince yourself that all those people who hate you only exist on social media, not so much when you start seeing enormous numbers of those people rapidly organizing to ferociously resist you on the street in a frighteningly disciplined fashion

Pam Bondi just sent a letter to Minnesota officials saying ICE will leave if the state turns over its voter database to Trump.

Guess what? This has never been about safety or immigration. It’s a pretext for Trump to take over elections in swing states.

They don’t care if it’s even plausible or not. They’re just as likely to say he was trying to him them with his car as they are to say anything else.
Can’t wait to hear the excuse on this one.

The problem is that most elected Democrats are terrified of alienating the people who are very explicit in their desire for things that are incompatible with a free and democratic society.
I would argue that the case for dismantling ICE has, at this point, virtually nothing to do with larger questions of immigration enforcement and reform, it's just clearly incompatible with a free and democratic society to maintain a secret police force with sweeping and arbitrary authority.
Senator Gallego weighs in as well. Note that at the start of 2025 he was considered a *moderate* on immigration and co-sponsored the Laken Riley Act. Him and many other Dems have been increasingly horrified at what ICE is doing and shifted away from a "more enforcement" focus.

Everybody who uses an iPhone needs to know that holding the unlock and volume up buttons for a few seconds will lock the screen and disable Face ID.
(5b) Cellphones are key to our work. Communication, photos and videos, etc. But they often have our whole lives on them. If you go out w/ your main phone, you should back up and remove as much of your personal data from the phone as possible. Disconnect every account but the ones you absolutely need

Don’t forget about selling them to a machine like they did to that one kid.
(5a) There's a diversity of opinions on this next bit among folks I talk to, but my position is that more active observers/protestors need to consider a different approach to their phones. I'veheard of ICE holding phones or "losing" them. There are two factors here: evidence and slowing people down
