$7 b sounds like a lot of money but it's a drop in the bucket as compared to the misery and death those assholes caused.

As part of blocking Nixon's guaranteed income bill from reaching the Senate floor, the chair of the Senate Finance Committee said, "Who will iron my shirts?"

It would have dropped poverty by 60%.

If you want to put an end to this shit as I do, please join me in fighting for universal basic income.
I sometimes feel like they don’t want to end poverty or reduce inequality because they believe they’re entitled to a class of people they can prey upon

If she DID find a way to record it, she would own the first born of the AG, DAG, and FBI Director.
One reason you hold a meeting to pressure/cajole/threaten Boebert in the Situation Room is so she can't record it.

The International Criminal Court is ditching Microsoft Office, saying it’s too dependent on US tech, in favor of Open Desk, a German open source alternative.

The move comes after Microsoft revoked ICC head Karim Khan’s email access when he was sanctioned by the US for the warrant against Netanyahu.

Could someone have done better than Schumer at keeping the Dems 100% in line for the last month? Remember, 5 of these people (and another 5 who we don’t know), started negotiating day 1. Schumer successfully kept them from doing anything about it till AFTER the election.

Not to mention, in the middle of this fight, and we are in the middle of it, there will be a vote on the ACA in Dec and we have until then to work our asses off to make Rs as unpopular as possible.

This is one of the reasons I said the Cave Caucus should have held out for at least a week, to make it clear Trump was unlawfully starving people.
As predicted in lots of places, including this morning's "One First," the extra 48 hours that the full Court bought for itself on Tuesday (by overriding Justice Jackson and extending her "administrative stay") was enough time for Congress to moot the SNAP case:

Redistricting isn't going to be the magic bullet they thought it would. They'll try poll place intimidation as a last resort but I think it's a long shot.

I can't even fathom what January will look like, except probably very bad for the Trump regime.

Absent a major black swan event, I don't see a path to power consolidation for them at this point.

For a number of reasons, not just Epstein.

The timetable evidently has been accelerated.

What's your new predication for when we get to January?

I'll just throw a random one out there: They do release the Epstein files but only after Trump had time to preemptively pardon himself and he tells his base he had to cause it was a Dem smear job.
