folks can complain about the effectiveness of scheduled orderly mass protest but to think about it another way its the closest thing we have to the opening scene of A Muppet Christmas Carol where all the muppets sing "there goes Mr. Dipshit, there goes Mr. Ass" to Scrooge and it clearly bothered him

My least practical view is more kids should go to university to meet different people from different parts of the country, learn new stuff (doesn’t need to be useful) and just generally learn to be an adult away from home and the workforce
“Too many kids go to university” is a view that’s a surprisingly good leading indicator of where someone’s views will converge on as they pass up the demographic ladder

Reading up about a/the wealth tax and it seems that people are suddenly really really keen on evidence-based policy in a way that they aren't for eg prisons, drugs, brexit, everything else
