I feel like superheroes who operate in New York City just doesn't make sense anymore in the 21st Century. The worst period of crime was during the 70's to early 90's, and the tens of thousands of surveilance cameras installed would make it impossible to keep a secret identity for long.

Just had the idea in my head and had to get it down and out. It's a bit messy in places, but i do like the effect and yes, Optimus Prime sacrificing his life for computer games characters is absolutely on brand and makes perfect sense. An absolute classic story. #transformers #maccadam

I find it really amusing that in the first issue of Amazing Spider-Man, Peter struggles to find a job so he can make money, and meanwhile the page right after is full of ads promoting real-life job opportunities. These facsimile editions reveal some fascinating and unintentionally funny stuff.
