I was at a housewarming party over the weekend. There, I met a dude who is a massive Predator fan and, for a significant stretch of time, we just talked about our love of the franchise. The Predator series makes friendships, folks.
So I finally watched PREDATOR: BADLANDS and it’s hard to think of a genre franchise that is getting it as right as this one. Three outstanding films in a row is an incredible comeback!
(edited because I miscounted).

The most dangerous thing about London, based on my own admittedly limited experience, is how many excellent comic shops there are within the city.

I’ve dropped the ebook price for the first of Richard Stark’s Parker novels, The Hunter, to $2.99. Buy it direct below, or from any major ebook retailer.

You won’t regret it.

In London 2009, Gary Numan made a surprise appearance with NIN to play Numan's "Metal" & "Cars." I filmed it in one unbroken shot from the middle of the stage with a handheld DSLR.

Here's the full video, savor the Dudes Rock energy of two legends doing a big mutual respect ("Cars" starts at 6:38):

Re: my last repost. I keep IG around because, despite not moving the needle much, it's still the platform where I connect with the most Singaporeans. It's almost entirely an international audience here, which is great, but it's still too risky for me to focus solely on folks outside of Singapore.

All the referral data tells me it barely moves the needle on anything. Not sales, not Kickstarters, nothing. But I keep thinking, "Maybe I'm just doing it wrong."

This is also why the simple act of making art, any art, is anti-fascist. Creating is an act of rebellion under fascist rule.

But on an ideological level fascism requires a violently enforced conformity and restricted expression. It embraces cruelty and rejects empathy.

Basically the exact opposite of what is required to make art.
