There's an old adage that "everyone gets cut in a knife fight," (the implication being you should avoid knife fights) so if you get into a knife fight, expect it to hurt. You might even bleed out. So you better do everything you can to hurt the other guy more.

I suggest the ending of SNAP food aid to 10% of USA population is a much bigger & immediate issue.
