We all know them by name — Hoth, Endor, Jakku, Tatooine — and we really wanted to bring that in as an integral part of the game. [Note: While these are all well-known Star Wars planets, not all of them will appear in the game, publisher Secret Mode later clarified.] So the environment has a tactical part to play in terms of your racing, and it plays its part in the ramjet. So in Lantaana — a lush, tropical rainforest vibe on an active volcano island planet — we've got rivers of lava and rivers of water, hot and cold. And so you have those decisions — the environmental heat helps get my ramjet up to operating temperature, but it's obviously going to get it hotter, quicker. I can also cool the ramjet, running it for longer over the colder water. The incredibly forgettable 3 Days To Kill with Kevin Costner pissed me off for some reason. While we're on the topic of Dad action movies, Taken 2 was complete dogshit as well.

Highguard thoughts after 5 hours of High Guardin'. The part where you play 1 flag CTF on horses is fun, the part where you play counter strike is fine, the looting is boring and borderline pointless, the way of three of these connect is sometimes interesting but most of the time just awkward.

I played two rounds of Highguard. It's solidly fine for what it is but the whole thing feels like it could've just been a new game mode in Apex from a mechanics standpoint and aesthetically its just not that interesting at all. I like the lil' fatass the vendor dude has on his shop table tho
