Wow: "Ethiopia last year took the extraordinary step of banning the import of new gasoline-powered cars. Nepal reduced import duties on EVs so much that they are now cheaper than cars with internal combustion engines."

This is what it looks like to be serious about clean energy. We are a dinosaur.

NEW: Rad Power Bikes has told employees it will go out of business in January without new funding.

The company said in a staff email that it had a "very promising" option to stay alive, but whatever that was, it fell apart.

I dealt with a lot of fossil-fuel propaganda in my book, but the lie that “by doing what we’re already doing we’ve avoided the bad outcomes” has in the past two years turned out to be the most popular and the most pernicious of all the disinformation I discussed.

Y'all are really pushing all of the Black journalists out of the industry, so that you can ask trash questions like this?

Embarrassing.

Some questions are harmful in and of themselves. It doesn't matter what's said in the debate, or who "wins."

Pretending that this is not trash, is weakness.

Opinion | Democrats’ election wins showed they don't need to hide their support for trans rights
Republicans repeated Trump's anti-trans strategy from 2024 and lost big. This should be instructive for Democrats.

Did you hear about this new study recommending that the Democrats move right on most issues?

Well, I just took a moment to dig into their data — and, lo!, it is nonsense.

They're testing not voters' opinions about policies, but the parties' MESSAGING about policies — which is very different!

A Naperville man was hauled away by federal immigration agents Thursday morning as his two sons watched, the older boy begging them not to hurt his father and tearfully asking for a chance to speak to him before they left.
