@wutrain.bsky.social I understand the city did a poor job of clearing snow this year, but we must also make sure we're holding fellow citizens accountable too. You as the leader need to make it clear 18 days after a storm using space savers is not allowed & ppl threatening ppl who move them

“Car infrastructure first” has failed—loud, polluted, and dangerous streets are the result. Build people infrastructure (sidewalks, protected lanes, safer crossings, transit priority) and we get calmer traffic and healthier communities. Newton is the latest proof.

@wutrain.bsky.social lets add some street trams back into our city, move away from cars and use these awesome looking tram plows to help during storms. What a great idea! Gotta be somethin to it. Plus with main streets not allowing street parking we have room for snow if we made real changes
It's time for another #mysteryphoto! Can you figure out where and when this photo was taken?

Regarding Councilor Flynn's Hearing Order on FEMA's flood insurance program, I've sent a letter to Councilor Flynn asking him to provide date(s) and time(s) that he's met Fort Point contituents on this issue.

With reasonable due diligence, I've found no such meetings.

Sometimes u look out at the economy & its scary so you start doing some forecasting based on as many factors as possible and its bleak. Trump admin is a failed administration digging holes deeper and deeper. Like many others I fear our jobs, homes, health & communities. This ain't a pretty scenario

Literally and figuratively in conflict with City Hall. We are being terrorized and paying the bill for it at the same time.

NEW: ICE is leasing offices throughout the US as part of a secret, months-long expansion campaign. WIRED is publishing dozens of these locations.

@wutrain.bsky.social instruct trash pickup to include any space savers found in the road when they're collecting trash at homes. 3 weeks after a storm space savers should not be getting used still

#boston our streets are not private storage areas.
Something to keep in mind the next time the city tries to repurpose parking and drivers complain that every last car is necessary at all times. The storm was two weeks ago.

#boston our city could be much safer, empowering, healthier, easier to get around, greener, cheaper, there could be denser housing and less reliance on cars. Bike lanes, trams, expanded sidewalks would also make it easier to remove snow during the winter since we would have some place to put snow

It was shocking to see in Allston how the city just abandoned people who bike. I don't understand a city that invests in a green and burgeoning mode of transportation that people rely on year round but gives up

I would like an apology from @wutrain.bsky.social & Nick Gove and a pledge to do better
February 7, 2026 at 2:44 PM
@wutrain.bsky.social please be bold and aggressive. We need to update laws & requirements for streets for the city we need not for the city we have now. Future planning means change and change requires big financial investments and planning. Phase in protected bike lanes reducing on street parking

Three (3) thoughts this morning:

Cycle lanes mean more to a city than mobility alone. They revitalize a city by attracting young people to the city, and investment surely follows.

#boston i'm proud of these folks. You have city councilors fighting hard to get rid of bike lanes, meanwhile the citizens of the city picking up the slack and doing the work themselves showing these are primary modes of transit and need to be maintained. If there was ever proof you needed here it is
Boston did not clear snow from the bike lanes after the storm two weeks ago, so our community came together to do so. "We just want to get home safe and alive!" @bikeboston.bsky.social @streets.boston.gov @mayorwu.boston.gov @universalhub.com @wcvb5.bsky.social @mass.streetsblog.org

Today, construction on the nation’s largest infrastructure project came to a halt - with hundreds laid off - because Donald Trump is out of control.

The good news: political pressure still works, and we can use our voices to make sure he doesn’t have the last word.

@wutrain.bsky.social lets work with volunteers to create groups like these each season. Every section of the city if you asked and allowed to organize and provided cleaning tools i guarantee you would have ppl wanting to lend a hand to clear things out.
Comm Ave now has a bike lane again thanks to the effort of this volunteer crew!

This is just one street, and we don't have the plows that the city has. Let's get this done city-wide!

#boston schools need help controlling car traffic. There are far too many parents dropping off by car in a city that should empower walking, biking, trains, buses. Today i saw an old man get out of his car curse & go off on bus drivers & the crossing guard for blocking traffic...its a school zone!!
