#boston we should create a neighborhood run team of sidewalk & bike lane clearing teams. Its managed by each neighborhood. You may even get volunteers who would help in certain areas who could sign up to assist. Get small bike lane clearing vehicles. Munich Germany has these. We could too!

As a new parent to BPS with little kids...gotta say i'm impressed at the progress I've seen in a short period of time with @wutrain.bsky.social at the helm for this city. This books program itself is great, the Boston Saves program is wonderful! My kiddos are excited to save money they get now :)

GOP are morons. Weed is generating more revenue in taxes than coal & they're trying to shut it down. Honestly its probably all the private prisons getting upset that they don't have enough inmates to fill their jails anymore without weed convictions. $20B Coal VS $115B Weed - look at the difference!

#boston we don't need a golf course across from franklin park...we just don't. 3 golf courses within about 2-3 miles of each other. Boston needs space for people, not for a handful of people a day. Take the George Wright golf course & turn it into something usable by everyone. Expand franklin park

#boston Union Station & beefing up our trains is f'n cool. Germany did it, Canada has done it & continues to expand, #massachusetts & #newengland need to do this again. We made a mistake ripping up our connections which made us better neighbors but we can do it again & learn from mistakes

Finally got eversource to update our power bill to be the updated rate for all electrical heat pumps and we're using solar and heat pump hot water. This kinda bill makes me happy. But honestly wish we had batteries but 10 to 15k a piece just doesn't make sense atm #solarpower #boston

@wutrain.bsky.social 311 seems pretty useless. They won't even have someone fix a pole sticking out eye level for kids in a sidewalk. This is right next to a school & kids have to remember not to get impaled when turning the corner @streets.boston.gov fix this stuff stop saying it's not an issue

@mbta.com union station could be a reality. @wutrain.bsky.social @sethmoulton.bsky.social let's look at how we can do it. Ideally multiple tiers of trains similar to berlins main station which also has a bus depot, bike station and a river ferry next to it

And yes - there are amazing examples of stations & systems that work really well. Germany is a good spot to look at, Stuttgart, Berlin, Munich all have really nice designs to pull from and massive upgrades happening at the same time. Lets talk to our Germany counterparts and get moving @mbta.com

#boston lets think about how we can achieve this. We can do this type of thing, we've done it before, we can do it again and this time the trains will be buttery smooth. Just talk to Europe & Asia teams and we can design properly and buy quality trains for our needs.

#boston we could have an elevated line with sidewalk underneath it with flowers or trees running down Boylston instead of many lanes of cars. Yes I know the marathon runs there, but we could handle that.

@archives.boston.gov searching through your site is exciting and very frustrating. Because i click on something thinking there may be something to look at for example the image attached, but there is no interaction that i can take after getting here. I keep thinking there are images but i can't them

#boston, what is standing in our way of rebuilding our elevated rail? Honestly, we need it. Our city is begging to grow, but we can't do it with cars. We need bikes & elevated train lines to do it. @wutrain.bsky.social I believe we can do this, visit Berlin and see the shops they put under the lines

I visited Berlin and was struck by how easy it was to zip around by train. They still had elevated trains with these beautiful metal beams...we had those in #boston but car brain took over and we ripped it all down. Now we're stuck in endless traffic trying to rebuild & reconnect our city & state

i click into a folder, and finally something with photos shows up. I click on a photo and it seemingly takes me to a completely different site which is confusing. That said though your scanning & photo quality is absolutely outstanding - i just wish it was easier to navigate and find things

for example just clicking into here i'm expecting to see photographs i click on this, its not clickable. I have no idea where the images are, so i randomly start clicking links hoping to find something, i click on file versions and it brings me to a new area with what appears to be folders

Mendell School is one of my focus schools at the moment for upgrades. Changing the way we use space at this school could help with pickup & dropoff safety. Adding bike lanes to both sides of the street, bus parking during school hours, removing parking directly across from the school entirely.
