This is the type of thing I believed in my teenage years. I then spent fifteen years or so thinking it was massively more complex and nuanced and also humdrum than this, and now - having watched this shitshow for about thirty five years - I have concluded that I was correct when I was about 17.

If Starmer is so "obviously qualified" why is he so unrelentingly shit
A person is not "qualified" to be PM in the same way as they are qualified to be a surgeon or a mechanic. You can picture Polanski learning the technical aspects of government a lot more easily than you can picture Farage or Starmer acquiring the necessary ethical or humanistic qualities.

We strip-mined the future, the rich tearing the whole planet apart, the middle class getting bought off with a house. Now the future is the present and the kids who have to grow up in the ruins are asking: where's my future? And the answer is "fuck you, why are you trying to take my house?"
