i agree with this in principle but i can't get behind tapes over CDs. like yes you can get a used tape player for cheap IF you know where to look, but for how much longer? meanwhile you probably already have multiple devices in your home with a disc drive that can play a CD in its sleep.

not my coworker casually dropping that he used to work as a lieutenant prison guard but had to resign after lying under oath about his buddies abusing a prisoner and now he's trying to get a new job in the prison system while working here just to make ends meet until then.
