The absolute bare minimum demand here should be DHS funding won't pass while Kristi Noem is DHS secretary and Bovino's still around. Not just this or that mild statutory provision they're gonna break with impunity anyway. The problem is not insufficient laws. The problem is you have lawless people.

Democrats can and must make it clear there will be trials and anyone even somewhat associated with ICE will face them. Maybe give a quit-your-job deadline on appeasement and give people 72 hours. I don't know. But currently the plan is to let them murder us in the street and get away with it.
