Humanity is facing a mass extinction event and I'm increasingly fine with that.
Today, the Trump administration repealed the endangerment finding: the ruling that served as the basis for limits on tailpipe emissions and power plant rules. Without it, we’ll be less safe, less healthy and less able to fight climate change—all so the fossil fuel industry can make even more money.
WATCH: Trump, EPA's Zeldin announce end of scientific basis for U.S. action on climate change
The Trump administration on Thursday revoked a scientific finding that long has been the central basis for U.S. action to regulate greenhouse gas emissions and fight climate change, the most aggressiv...

Tried not to binge all of Small Prophets in one go, so have only just finished it and, god, it's perfect. Gently funny, quietly mystical, devastatingly melancholy. The creature effects exactly the right blend of nostalgic and eerie. Just pure magic all the way through.

Some songs just sound too good to be true. They are songs that permeate true joy. They are songs like Holes, the string-laden opener to the wonderful 'Deserter's Songs'.

What if the real threads were the friends we met along the way?
Threads director Mick Jackson has expressed worry over the upcoming remake’s focus on finding “hope even in the most challenging of times.”

“That one phrase worried me,” he tells Empire. “Hope is not part of nuclear war.”

I don’t care if it’s Pete McTighe or Jack Thorne, but whoever the next Who showrunner may be, I’ll bear your children if you make this the version of the theme you use:
Dear BBC and RTD: please bring back the Peter Howell version of the Doctor Who theme, and add a kicking drum beat to it, like this:

Yeah, British politics is simple. You just need to improve public services without any meaningful tax increases, reduce immigration without any labour market impacts, and deliver growth and you'll be hugely successful.
Right, but if you strip out the hyperbole it's just "the public are angry about the cost of living, immigration and the NHS and don't particularly understand any of them" which, sure, but what do I do with that?
You may not like it, but strip out the hyperbole and abuse and it's quite hard to argue with this Cummings asssessment of the public mood

Feel increasingly furious about this. Starmer may have made the worst of a bad job, but if he's hounded out of office, it's proof that Britain is no longer governable.
It would be so 2026 if Keir Starmer - a fundamentally decent, if politically inept, man who would rather be watching Arsenal than hanging out on billionaire's private islands - becomes the only major casualty of the Epstein Files.
