Fiona on #TheTraitors has such peak Russell T. Davies villain energy. Just incredible television.

Is it ultimately, a genuinely spiritual film about the possibility of redemption? John attempts to explain his grand narrative of what the hell he thinks is going on in the film, but will Luke be satisfied?

I watched Aguirre, The Wrath of God and found the perfect representation of the worst gig I ever went to (naming no names).

Really enjoyed visiting this recently. Recommended if you're Hull adjacent. Swung by to peer at the TG house, too.
That costume and original photos from that shoot are in the INCOGNITO exhibition at Humber Street Gallery. Still open until 25th January - when I’m there to talk with Caroline Catz. Just few tix left www.eventbrite.co.uk @humberstgallery.bsky.social

So proud to still be a part of SFX as it reaches issue 400. As I note each time we hit one of the big numbers, I've read it since #1.

It's an extra special issue for me, as I have a David Lynch feature, with input from Sabrina S. Sutherland, Michael Horse, Chrystabell and more. On sale now!

Congrats to everyone at @sfxmagazine.bsky.social for publishing its 400th issue!

Thanks to @ianberriman.bsky.social and the team, I’ve penned an article for this milestone issue (Star Trek-related, back page).

Here’s to the next 30 years of top-tier science fiction and fantasy reporting.

My 86 year old mum just whimpered forlornly "No, I don't want a McDonald's Big Tasty" at the TV.

Tonight, me and my friends will complete a five year mission: watch an instalment of the Silent Night Deadly Night series that we started at Christmas 2020.

So of course they've just made a *sixth* movie.

In my latest Frasier-esque mishap, I tried on a new perfume today, only to realise that it was, in fact, a room spray. Almost threw up and spent the afternoon smelling like an air-freshener had exploded all over me.

Thought Game was terrific. Slow burn car crash thriller with a menacing turn from Jason out of Sleaford Mods and a rave nostalgia soundtrack contrasting/complementing the feral nature doc vibes. Looks amazing, too. Some letterboxd thoughts below (I am evilrobotbill on there too.)

28 Years Later #TheBoneTemple takes some big swings and most of them land. Suspect it will divide fans but it's nastier and - surprisingly - funnier than the first part, with mesmerising performances from Jack O'Connell and Ralph Fiennes.
