Okay, I've been bullied into it.

The 1st Minnesota did indeed make a desperate, heroic charge on July 2nd that wiped out 3/4 or so of the men who made the charge. It's a wonderful story. I'll tell it in a bit.

They did indeed capture a Confederate flag that Minnesota refuses to return.

BUT.
Fighting the urge to be pedantic about this.

It blows me away that anyone advertises on Twitter. They should pay consequences for that, and it’s up to us to make it happen.
I reached out to more than three dozen X advertisers, xAI investors, politicians, and government agencies about the growing library of sexualized deepfakes generated with Grok—now including Renee Good. I only heard back from four, with three declining to comment.

Why isn't there a bigger Grok boycott?
Advertisers, politicians, and investors are still all-in on X, despite a sexual abuse crisis.

Okay, here me out: the other day I read somewhere that a big reason Trump is hell-bent on getting Greenland is because it’ll make the US look a lot bigger on the map. (I wish I were making this up.)

What we need is to start using these map projections everywhere, news and so forth.

Look, Maduro is a scumbag.

But this isn’t even about him. If he ran Venezuela exactly like he has, but was buddy-buddy with Trump and US oil companies, this never would have happened.

It’s about oil.

Guess how many cognitive exams they gave my dad in the twelve months after he was referred to a dementia specialist by his doctor. After each one, they assured him that he “did great.”

If he had any advisors around him, there is no way they would let him keep posting about taking repeated dementia screenings in 2 am social media rants.

If you've been unlucky enough to watch a loved one lose their grasp on reality due to dementia, you see this for exactly what it is. Terrifying.

Insane but true fact: making US roads as safe as Canadian, Australian, or European roads would save more lives than eliminating murder from the US.

Hate to say it, but you should no longer trust anything from CBS News. I'm sure there are great reporters there trying to do honest work, but how can we know anymore? If they're willing to kill a Trump-critical 60 Minutes segment at the order of Bari Weiss, it's been over.

The FBI put a thousand agents (their own words) on trying to hide all the links between Trump and Epstein. They failed. When people found some additional photos of Trump in the release, the DOJ promptly DELETED THEM FROM THE DOCUMENT RELEASE.

Available to download Friday, some Epstein files no longer there Saturday afternoon
An NPR analysis of the Epstein files shows some documents, originally available on Friday, are no longer on the Department of Justice's "Epstein Library" website as the DOJ releases more files.

SNAP is a lifeline for workers in low-wage jobs.

Meanwhile, CEOs are paid 280x as much as the typical worker.

WOW: The DOJ has DELETED an image from its release of the Epstein files that shows photos of Trump in a drawer.

Yesterday, we noted that this image — file 468 — likely slipped through the cracks while officials were attempting to hide materials pertaining to Trump.

Now, it’s gone.

It's been nearly a month and they still haven't released the Epstein files because withholding exculpatory evidence is clearly what you do when you're "innocent."
