The problem with Big Podcasting is they’ve identified the uh charm of the medium is listening to people you like having a semi-unscripted chat, but then when you introduce big egos of course they also want to be on camera in addition to not wanting to do any prep or be edited at all.

it's good for people to get aid. it's good to give people aid. it's good when public figures and politicians model positive behaviors like giving aid. it's good as a campaign tactic both for branding and earned media purposes. it's bad to sit online and nitpick someone actually doing good

frankly i think it's disgusting to share an article about a candidate's strategies to accuse her of "campaign fraud" while deliberately ignoring the parts of the article where 1) the campaign actively works to maintain compliance 2) the tampons were all donated, not purchased with campaign funds

i think utilising trump’s reactions to reasonable questions as the framing for how communists or friends of working people criticise you is pretty telling really.
