Geez, I’m an idiot. I just now realized why the right has so virulently attacked trans right and made it a major election issue.
With the repeal of Roe v Wade, they can’t use anti-abortion as their primary political/fund raising position anymore, so anti-trans takes its place.

I firmly believe the US constitutional article II action 2 presidential pardon authority requires revised limitations. No president should be able to pardon an appointed member of their administration for crimes committed as part of their official (and unofficial) duties for the administration.
