Incredible.
It’s the “season of love and giving”…but this year, doesn’t it seem more like a “season of fear and taking”? Like many of you, I’ve been saddened by the human impact of draconian government budget cuts and how angry many housed Americans are at unhoused Americans.

Cronkite is currently spinning in his grave at approximately 10,000rpm.
The person who made the decision to hold this story has never been a news reporter or a news editor. Really sickening.

The #1 movie when you were 10 is how your 2026 is going to go.

Gonna need to harness that Pedro Cerrano spirit.

I have no problem with this. Why are we shitting on things (in this case coloring) that bring people joy, especially now? This is entirely on the Strib for not setting an upper age limit or having an adult category.
Amid the cascading horrors, I still have room for indignation at the Strib’s decision to award a 61 year old woman first place for their 47th annual Thanksgiving coloring contest

Does this include families that may have transgender members? Her "bipartisan" vote from yesterday makes me doubt it.
Americans shouldn't lose the Child Tax Credit or Earned Income Tax Credit just because a storm or flood wiped out their income.

My new bipartisan Working Families Disaster Tax Relief Act prevents families from being punished for circumstances beyond their control.

Here are the 28 Dem Senators who voted to advance the first federal ban on trans athletes & a federal definition of sex that would make trans & intersex people non-existent: Angela Alsobrooks (MD), Tammy Baldwin (WI), Richard Blumenthal (CT), Lisa Blunt Rochester (DE), Chris Coons (DE), ->
By a vote of 76-23, S 1071 passes the motion to proceed to the motion to concur. Won't know who voted for this until the roll call is uploaded, but safe to say it passed with the support of at least 24 members of the Democratic caucus. (Rand Paul probably voted nay and Steve Daines has been absent).

"I didn't vote for this..." is code for "I wanted this to happen to other people.", which makes assholes like Zink the worst kind of person you could have the misfortune of meeting.
“.. He led me into the Hilltop, where half the people inside knew his name, to a corner where we sat drinking diner coffee. ‘You won’t meet anyone more conservative than me, and I didn’t vote for this,’ Zink said.”

As avian flu cases rise, it’s more important than ever to develop a vaccine to protect all impacted poultry and livestock.

Marco Rubio ordered diplomats to return to using Times New Roman font in official communications, calling his predecessor's decision to adopt Calibri a “wasteful” diversity move

Robert is possibly being rhetorical here, but the chances of a current day NRA member defending a visible minority is probably somewhere between zero and none.
Gun cultists often claim they are arming themselves against an out-of-control government that targets innocent citizens.

Folks, we are already there.

I wonder how many Minnesotans with an NRA sticker on their vehicle are willing to stand up for Mubashir?

Emmer is a craven, opportunistic piece of shit who kowtows before anyone he thinks will allow him to keep a claw hold on whatever crumb of power he has.
Strib put its Emmer takedown behind its new, higher paywall, meaning even subscribers can’t share, so I’ll paste the grossest part, which includes the loathsome Vin Weber, who hasn’t received enough criticism over the years. I just came in from a 30-mile round trip drive from CR to the 280/E Hennepin area and back. Freeway there, surface streets back. Did a little running tally in my head: out of 100 vehicles surveyed, at least 30 had no lights on. 😐 #mnwx #albertaclipper #turnyourdamnlightson
