my point isn't (merely) doom; my point is that the plaintiffs and lawyers and anybody else opposing the administration needs to be realistic and understand where this is actually going because SCOTUS has almost literally told us that they aren't a co-equal branch against this man

Before Trump, law enforcement were trained to behave professionally. At a traffic stop they would start with words such as "Mam, may I see your drivers license and registration."
ICE evidently trains their goons to start a stop with screamed profanity, quickly followed by violence.

I think most reasonable people can watch that video and properly assess that the officer was not defending himself. They know that. The point of this is to create an excuse for folks to the veneer of debate. They don’t care if the officer was in danger. Resisting orders is enough.
