Another scandal they're walking straight into.
There’s a good chance the British Prime Minister’s main adviser on AI is an OpenAI shareholder - but the government refuses to say whether she is.

US President saying the UK would be at the back of the queue for trade deals post-Brexit = terrible slight on the UK, "symbol of the part-Kenyan president’s ancestral dislike of the British empire"
US President suing national broadcaster for $1bn = we must grovel and apologise.
Trump then pardoned thousands of those involved, including violent offenders who have already gone on to commit more crimes. That doesn’t erase his own record, or the facts of the event.

Why is the shadow culture secretary demanding the BBC “grovel” to a foreign leader for telling the truth?

The BBC is in crisis in the same way that GB News would be if you put Owen Jones on the board armed with a veto and plenty of coffee.

One day, I'd love to write a book about the far-right origins of most of the British environmentalist movement. The Soil Association emerged out of Kinship in Husbandry, which was properly Deep Soil fascist.

I wonder how this will play for Farage. Trump is very unpopular here; the BBC much loved.

You can be assured that tendentious memo by Michael Prescott, and the co-ordinated combination of the Telegraph, Mail, Boris Johnson, Nigel Farage and the White House means that the BBC hit job has been long in the planning, and has some insider help

Keep thinking of when Disney tried to sue the BBC when Alexei Sayle’s Stuff parodied Snow White and the BBC legal person was heard to say, ‘Fuck Disney, we’re the BBC.’

Schumer’s resume:

- gets outfoxed by McConnell during two Trump impeachments

- consistently fails to whip the vote when it matters

- folds like a cheap lawn chair under pressure

- thumbs his nose at new progressive candidates

It’s like we brought reading glasses to a gun fight.

*UK Labour furiously scribbling notes 🤪🔥
How about we shut down the government for this very popular and specific goal and then, hear me out, we hold out for like a month and a half and then, ok this part is important, after a watershed election where we ran the table, ONLY THEN, fold and don't get the one thing we said we wanted.

Anyway if we lived in a rational world the Telegraph would sack Allison Pearson for persistently promoting hatemongering claims like this and Ofcom would be clamping down on GB News.

This bit is kind of right: the change from sombre remembrance to Tinseltown War Christmas coincided with coffins in Wooton Bassett, because the government getting a fuckton of squaddies killed just to curry favour with the Americans was awkward and hard to explain, for the flag-humpers.

Just a thought, but... what else was he likely to be doing tonight? Headline news, really?
