This is like when Hammer studios made two films back to back with the exact same sets and cast but released them months apart because back then nobody would notice.

ITALY WIN BY TEN WICKETS
February 12, 2026 at 12:10 PM
Since the Italian football team won the world cup in 2006, their cricket team has now won exactly the same number of world cup games: One.
Italy are officially better at cricket than at football.

Half tempted to put a fiver on Italy beating England.
I can’t believe I’m saying this but Italy look like they’re about to win a match of cricket at the Wankhede—and against a team who could and should have beaten England a few days ago

I know that when it comes to the wedding speeches which I now rely on to put food on the table, it’s AI that has pretty much pulled the rug from under my feet. I offer an ‘AI fix” for under a hundred quid for people who go down that route and come unstuck. You adapt, get your head down and hope.
I always tell @gailmyerscough.co.uk (who’s doing brilliantly at the moment) that when you’re self-employed, the main thing is not to panic during lean times. The lack of work had been going on for 6 months and it’s becoming difficult to maintain calm.

I'm convinced AI is our generation's radium - a discovery with genuinely useful applications in specific, controlled circumstances that we stupidly put in everything from kid's toys to toothpaste until we realised the harm far too late where future generations will ask if we were out of our minds.

Nothing has highlighted just how technically illiterate the senior business management and political classes are right now as the whole AI thing.

Just an entire generation of "leaders" incapable of spotting a bad sales pitch because of some woo woo tech words that sound cool.
We want to make sure tutoring isn't the preserve of a lucky few, but accessible to every child who needs it.

AI can help us do that.

Safe, personalised, one-to-one learning support to help every child achieve and thrive.

I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.
