This was to be expected - after cutting support to pro-democracy civil society last year, the US state is now looking to actively support far-right affiliated think tanks and charities in Europe.
Senior state department official Sarah Rogers travelled to European cities in December and has spoken to key figures in Nigel Farage’s populist Reform UK party about deploying grants to spread ‘American values’. ft.trib.al/Kx8ta8a

"We need to now move forward as a party to ensure that we can gain that support back. I don't believe we can with the PM in place - it is inevitable that the PM is going to have to step down"

We need to joint some dots here. Epstein, Mandelson, Palantir, McSweeney, the Tony Blair Foundation lobbying for digital ID, and Mahmood’s advocacy via the Tony Blair foundation of a panopticon society.

And how what once might have been the stuff of conspiracy theorists became the new normal.
If Mandelson is being investigated for his Epstein connections, he must also be investigated for his Thiel connections, because they ran a joint fund when Mandelson fixed Starmer's visit to Palantir

From the DOJ files: a handwritten letter from June 14, 2025 alleges that Donald Trump was involved with Jeffrey Epstein in the sale of young women to the sex trafficking ring of Epstein and the Saudis. She also claims that Trump forced her to have a miscarriage after she got pregnant.

Trump: "These people were brought to our country to vote, & they vote illegally. The Republicans should say, we should take over the voting in at least 15 places. The Republicans ought to nationalize the voting. We have states that I won that show I didn't win. You're gonna see something in Georgia"

If you're response to people calling these "concentation camps" is that they are no different than prisons, that's exactly what makes them concentration camps. Prisons are for people who have received the procedural protections of criminal law and been sentenced, not civil detainees.
BIG news from @bloomberg.com, which confirms that ICE has gone ahead and *purchased* multiple commercial warehouses with the aim of converting them into mass detention camps.

This is likely to be the big detention story of 2026 — literal warehousing of people.

Trump may bring in new voting rules ahead of the midterms based on a report into fraud at the 2020 election currently being prepared by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, the WSJ reports.
