I can’t really “write for myself” cause myself is a terrible audience (overly critical and easily distracted).
I tend to write for one person at a time. It’s not the SAME person each time, but every time I write I am thinking about telling the story to one person I care about.

Hey new writers in the fandom or those feeling lost in the shuffle of more popular fics. I know it can be frustrating and disheartening, sometimes it feels like you're writing for an empty room. We all say 'write for yourself' but let's not discount how much we love to get kudos and comments. 1/
