It's me, hi, I'm the one screaming "LOG OFF", it's me
He/him. UK. I occasionally make EBM/industrial music as Trellick. I hate fascists & bigots and post angrily about that sort of thing

Do you like EBM? I've released some more EBM as Trellick. It's hot, it's sweaty, it's great. And there's even a remix by @digitalgeist.com to get things even hotter!

It's PWYW on BC trellick.bandcamp.com/album/muscle... or find it on your streaming service of choice #ebm #electronicbodymusic

if I was the chief of staff for a party polling through the floor and was responsible (supposedly) for a lot of their current direction, I'd maybe expect newspapers/other politicians/my boss to stop treating the things I say as having merit, and to consider whether actually I'm the problem

the upside to have a mild case of flu is that the feeling feverish and Too Warm is quite handy when the weather outside (and therefore, the flat _inside_) is cold, I guess

Me: Maybe this year I'll sort a bunch of things out, stop putting everything off, be slightly more together and do stuff I've needed to do for years
Also me: welp, it's 6th January and things already suck, maybe I'll give up until 2027

me, lounging in my sitting room in a smoking jacket with a snifter of brandy: computer. show me videos of overweight housepets at weight-loss camp.

computer: very good sir. now playing "overweight tabby gets stuck in window trying to escape vet office".

me, swirling my brandy: fantastic.

walked face first into a shop's glass door that had a big "CLOSED" sign hanging on it. Raised a huge lump on my forehead and sprained my knee to the point I could barely walk for a couple of weeks.

The staff inside closing up all looked round at the bang as I hastily stumbled away round the corner
What's the most ridiculous way you ever hurt yourself? I got out of the tub, skidded in water and tripped over the toilet. Ankle sprain.

😅

If you can't figure out the Lament Configuration do you think the Cenobites would fall for it if you peeled off all the stickers and sloppily put them back on to make it look like you solved it? 🤔❓🧠

sometimes I remind Lady Companion about the time I went to a doctor about a problem and, after an examination and flick through reference material, I got told "so this is most often seen in horses..."

It never fails to reduce her to helpless laughter and accusations that I actually went to a vet

i dedicated a better part of four years to writing up mark zuckerberg's impact on the world and suffice it to say that nuremberg would be too kind to the son of a bitch
The January 6 Committee later found that “social media played a prominent role in amplifying erroneous claims of election fraud.”

But committee leaders chose not to publish some of their most scathing findings, fearing a public battle with big tech companies.

serious question: is there a reason people are referring to gambling sites using the specific phrase "prediction markets"? Is it some kind of loophole that stops them being treated as gambling, am I missing nuance or are people just pretending it's something other than gambling?

how many more mainstream media articles about genAI tools being used for CSAM, abuse/harassment, driving people to suicide, disinformation and scams at scale do you think we have to get before a journalist finally figures out that this is because the tools are working as intended?

My whole life, advocating war has been fed to me as “the adult position,” akin to drinking your coffee black or reading the business section of the newspaper. Let’s be very clear — war is the childish nonsense of impulsive destructive idiots playing baby-brained video games with real human lives.

I‘m discontinuing my social media use for the foreseeable future and I want to explain why.

I woke up in the new year to discover that some guy on here had saved photos I took on New Year’s Eve and used Grok to remove my clothes. I know this because he showed me.

This is going to be a critical thing to understand about British politics for the next forty years: they knew this was genocide. Nobody can ever admit what they have done here. This is also important for the last forty years, where they’ve all been lying about our crimes in Northern Ireland.
Worse: having chosen to side with genocidaires, they cannot ever admit what they’ve done now without going to jail. They have forever implicated all of us, all of Britain, in America’s genocide, and they will sink the whole fucking island before they admit their malfeasance.
