Imagine what making this week's News Huddlines would be like. Last night's script would be in the bin at The Paris and Peter Hickey would be banging out a whole new monologue.
Oh it’s days like this I miss working in news.

Lots of chat about the *last* English royal to be arrested, but who was the first? The Anglo-Saxons typically bumped off their rivals, so I'll start the bidding with Odo, bishop of Bayeux, arrested and imprisoned by his half-brother, William the Conqueror, in 1082.

An outstanding payment - the smallest on my list, because those always take the most chasing for some reason - has been outstanding for nine weeks. Accounts just ghosting me.

I sent an email saying "Charging late fees always seems petty, but..." and it was paid in 43 minutes lol

I got a tip that all over the world, people are using a dead-simple hack to manipulate AI behavior. It turns out changing what AI tells other people can be as easy as writing a blog post *on your own website*

I didn’t believe it, so I decided to test it myself www.bbc.com/future/artic...
I hacked ChatGPT and Google's AI – and it only took 20 minutes
I found a way to make AI tell you lies – and I'm not the only one.
