State sponsored satire writer. Private Eye. BBC Dead Ringers. Award losing children’s author. Surprisingly Australian. 2nd hand stick collector
Very odd the way the BBC doesn’t just agree that the people online who hate it more than life itself to simply not exist anymore. Inexplicable really.

It's been a very quiet week.
As a small business owner that’s a bit scary heading into my busy season.

So, if you're looking for unique #Christmas gifts, I make prints, homewares, cards & accessories inspired by midcentury design, music & architecture.

Once you get it into your head watching ‘Frankenstein’ that Oscar Issac is Rufus Sewell playing Marty Feldman it’s hard to get it out again

👏👏👏

Pluribus is wonderful by the way. Strange & compelling, deeply personal & epic. Rhea Seahorn reliably great. Fuck off happiness! My new favourite telly show

Keep thinking I can’t hate AI any more. Always wrong

The pain of losing someone to suicide is a uniquely cruel horror.

Fuck you Open AI. Fuck you ChatGPT. Sickening.
This conversation between ChatGPT and the young man it encouraged to commit suicide is just...my god

Such a mystery who’ll receive this craven sycophantic honour.

‘The FIFA Peace Award’ sounds like a long lost Monty Python sketch

The John Lewis Xmas ad feels very Adolescence. At their best when they have a creepy undertone. (The Box one from Twitter glory days my favourite still)

‘Edge of Darkness’ is a masterclass in TV screenwriting. If you want to be the best screenwriter you can be it’s worth learning from the best in the business.

Like any brilliant drama its themes are as prescient now as when it first aired.

Great news - one of the best mini-series ever with a dazzling & eccentric screenplay by Troy Kennedy Martin & superb direction by Martin Campbell is back on iplayer.
If you haven’t seen it then you’re in for a real treat.
Come for Bob Peck, stay for Joe Don Baker.

Weird movies you stumble on the streamers - Prime has ‘The Odd Job’, a very strange not very funny Graham Chapman penned & starring 70s comedy. I remember Palin mentioning the movie in his diaries (as not being very good)

He’s Tolkien shit again
Elon Musk, "These lovely small towns in England, Scotland and Ireland, they've been living their lives quietly. They're like hobbits"

"And so one day, 1,000 people show up in your village of 500 and start raping the kids"

"This has now happened, God knows how many times in Britain"
