The Guardian didn't end up using some of the most interesting photos for the article, but I'll share them here with credit to Rupert Allen.

ChatGPT’s signature writing style is everywhere now, and I hate it. It reminds me of when we tried mixing all the beverages at the soda fountain in middle school. We didn’t actually create the perfect drink, we just made a cloying monstrosity that lost everything good about its constituent parts.

Being involved in Rewilding from a voluntary point of view, and interested in land use from many other points of view, I wrote an article in response to a leading corporate rewilding org's anger at accusations of exploitation.

Doth they protest too much?

Popping back for something important…

This is for those of you who knew & loved that golden human, Jamie Normington @movingslowly.bsky.social – and those who never met him but were amused, enlightened, touched by his gift for communication and compassion here and on Twitter.

A Government of cowards.

Rather than tackle inequality - they've gone for pensioners, disabled people and now it's people fleeing war and persecution.

They can't get away with this.

Land Reform in Wales is starting to gain momentum...
We'll be including this as an ask for the elections next year with our members in Wales.

This image is so crazy.

This is the image you should show anyone who blames the ills of the countryside on ordinary people trying to access nature.

Time to call out the bullshit!

You can go out into the Highveld and wrestle all the Lions you want. You can lift 100kg bags of cattle feed in the south of France. You can run through all the freely glens.

You've not seen true psychopathy until you've played against someone who willingly sits on a roof in West Wales in December
I love that story doing the rounds this week about Harri Deaves turning up to Ospreys training in his van then returning to his day job as a roofer.

Comes across as a down-to-earth guy and the kind of person you really want to root for.

This man was, until very recently, the environment secretary.

Cash to trash. Awful.

Oh no!

Who can we now rely on lie to the public to protect the police against accountability for wrongdoing that led to the death of two children?

Because of course, the triple lock is a Lib-Con coalition policy.

One of the worst policies of all time!
November 11, 2025 at 4:33 PM
So refreshing to see a politician be able to give correct answers to questions.
Trevor Philips, "Prime Minister Keir Starmer is coming back from #COP30 having refused to put money into the tropical forest fund on the grounds that we can't afford it. He's right, isn't he?"

Zack Polanski, "No, it's outrageous. When it comes to climate, we have to look at the cost of inaction"
November 9, 2025 at 11:52 AM
How does a policy whose main effect would seem to be making working people reduce their pension contributions, make sense alongside a triple lock that relies on those contributions to fund it?

Stupid stupid.

The man of the moment.

He clearly thinks extremely highly of @greenparty.org.uk candidate @tessamarsh.bsky.social, paying generous tribute.

And you can see why, she just delivered a blistering speech to the Wales Green party conference. A big political talent.

Yes and yet several European countries are embracing a far-right worldview that would burn these policies to the ground, so let’s be not be smug or complacent here - particularly as Mamdani‘s pro-immigration stance is radical by European standards.
Europeans recognize Zohran Mamdani’s supposedly radical policies as ‘normal’ -- Critics of New York City’s mayor-elect have said his pledges of free bus service and universal childcare are unrealistic, but in Europe it’s a given www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...

Incredibly disappointing stuff from @timfarron.bsky.social , who seems to be capable of summoning massive anachronisms out of nowhere, to damage his own credibility and brand.

Where is the evidence Tim?
