Just got here, still setting things up. Gonna be tough to give up Twitter. We'll see how this goes.
On the other hand, I can't wait to have a lawyer who trusts psychics!
Everyone is dunking on Kim Kardashian. The truth is the California bar is notoriously hard, the pass rate was only 55%, the pass rate for people who didn‘t go to an accredited law school is way lower, and lots of very smart and dedicated people don’t pass the first time and become good lawyers.

Just a brilliant strategy to potentially remove the most popular show on your network from everyone's future DVR recordings.
By this time next week, we will be The Rachel Maddow Show on MS NOW!

Everything else about us will be the same, and that includes watching.

However! If you DVR the show, you may want to double check the scheduler to make sure it didn't get confused.

We are closing our airspace for the first nonwar reason
Our military is starving
Opposition election wins are being ignored

All because they wanna hide the Epstein files and what they say about Trump.

Goldberg Variations, BWV 988:Aria.

The song playing when Lecter escapes his cell in Silence of the Lambs. "Mind the drawings, please"
What's your favorite use of pre-existing classical music in a movie not directed by Stanley Kubrick?

Mine is probably "Hall of the Mountain King" from Fritz Lang's M, the main melody of which is whistled by the killer.

Runner up: Howard Hanson's Symphony No. 2 ("Romantic") at the end of Alien

I'm ready for "River of Hills" to become a permanent fixture of film discussion. One day, everyone will know exactly what that phrase is referring to, and entire threads of influence streaming from this one scene.
I loved One Battle After Another’s ending on first viewing, but the second time around I realized *how much* is going on in that scene beyond it being a really great car chase. So I had to write something about the brilliance of The River of Hills
