Yeah I love that cab! Birthday present from nearly 20 years ago. It’s a Brit made one from the 70s and I rewired the speakers to have them in series. It lowers the max vol a LITTLE but adds a lot of power to the low and lower mid end. Makes it move air.

Crazy assembly on this one. More than 70 pieces. I was rushed so I didn’t do my normal full flat fell seams finishing, but it does have a sateen lined back and waistband.. I’m really happy. One wash and it’s already getting a good fade. Say high to Cedar

But I find it’s often repeated technique. The trickiest part, is wrapping your head around assembling something inside out, an what the goal is once turned right side out, before you stitch. That helps keep things clean can avoid mistakes. Which WILL HAPPEN- A LOT. But most of the time it’s fixable

You can learn. You can learn. I got a pattern and lesson package from a site called Modern Sewing (or sewist?) and her videos set me off into the right path. And then once you understand the processes for assembly they just get used over and over again. There’s more than 1 way to skin cats..

Hand stitching is awesome and a skill I’ve enjoyed learning, but yeh break that machine out. There will still be plenty to hand stitch in the process..

This is the pattern. It’s my first “advanced” pattern but so far it’s not too bad…keep em crossed for me. I bet it’s the hidden button front placket that is gonna kick my ass.
