Our military makeup closely resembles our population politically.

That’s why they are building ICE. It’s a military force that they can deploy at home which mirrors their ideology. Those personnel won’t ask these pesky legality questions.

I added so damn much to my fabric horde today. Two estate sales and well over 100lbs of felted wool and vintage hand woven Japanese linens.
SO MUCH FABRIC

Yesterday a Waymo “waiting” to take a left pulled right out in front of me causing their passenger to throw their arms up in the terror that comes with being out of control and me to slam on my F250 brakes. I don’t recommend you use them.

WHY IS THIS SEASON OF THE DIPLOMAT SO FUCKING SHORT
November 16, 2025 at 3:40 AM
Not only do I support this trend I am also a member. Might I suggest something with longer reach than a 38…add an 0 in the middle

Side note, why did they capitalize “black”

They can’t release open investigative files.

“Release the files” only works when Bondi said the case was closed and there were no further charges warranted. Now, it’s been reopened. They won’t release the files.

In the United States of America 15 years old is not defined as “barely legal” it’s actually defined as criminal. It’s defined as rape.

It’s increasingly obvious that the only way to regulate the cost of healthcare in America is to regulate the profit for companies connected to the “industry”.
The necessity of healthcare doesn’t fit within the structure of capitalism, within those rules it turns a population into marks.

In America our media infrastructure is currently fully supported by Medicare enrollment plan adverts. Consider how much money those companies are spending to attract a customer base. A LOT.
Might play a role in why our healthcare costs are so high.
(I’m talking about their profits-paid by us)

TWICE- since a movie set medic saved the day to stop obscene bleeding from my finger that DEFINITELY needed stitches-I been able to avoid TWO urgent care trips for the same with the trick he taught me. Yes. I cut my finger real bad again. No I didn’t take pictures. Sure I’ll share the trick

How could anyone NOT know he was a pedophile and rapist?
THEY KNEW.
But he was the only person promising to harm the people they hate, so they looked away.

It’s pretty simple.

“40% of Americans don’t receive social security or Medicare. That’s billions of dollars flowing for people who don’t even use the system”
Same thing. Fucking idiot doesn’t understand how it works and they still trusted him to call a vote to save the program.

Chuck Schumer Helps Pull Democrats Back From Brink Of Courage
November 10, 2025 at 5:02 AM
In all their horror you can’t deny them their ability to congeal into one immovable mass. They are all “all in” on what their leadership demands or they are OUT.
Like a fascist regime..or something.

Dems not so much.

There will be no passage of ACA subsidies because they’ve been told no.

Vote just crossed 60/40 according to my senate feed

They are never getting ACA subsidies through The House. Johnson is refusing to swear representative in! He’s never bringing a vote on ACA subsidies.

This is so bad when you consider how the entire party talking point was “stick to healthcare” and the success of Tuesday it makes me wonder what threat they are folding to.

democratic voters wanted their party to shut down the government for myriad reasons — troops in american cities, masked thugs ripping families apart — but dem leaders insisted the wise thing to do politically was to stay hyper-fxated on this one thing, ACA tax credits. and then they just… gave up

Warner is up for reelection. He was widely seen driving towards surrender behind the scenes, but he's voting no in public because it's unpopular. The real question is whether he supports a senate leadership change. If not, someone who supports senate leadership change should primary him.
But I cannot support a deal that still leaves millions of Americans wondering how they are going to pay for their health care or whether they will be able to afford to get sick.

In a normal democracy, a total collapse of party leadership would result in an no-confidence vote and immediate snap elections to find leaders who can lead

Schumer voting no means one of two things
He knows this is a horrible deal that betrays the base and doesn’t want to be tied to it-
He has no control of the caucus

Either way he’s gotta go
Horrible example of leadership
November 10, 2025 at 3:39 AM
The Dems up for election all voted no if I’m not mistaking. To me that means the party leadership knows this is a bad deal with horrible outcomes for the American people.
For Jon Cornyn to be the holdout vote (he’s up for a reelection fight) should tell us a lot.
November 10, 2025 at 3:35 AM
The Senate came to a deal. This deal excludes any ACA extensions in lieu of a vote on it as a standalone bill in December. Part of me understands highlighting Republicans refusal and forcing them to explicitly vote no on that but the other part doesn’t trust they’ll ever bring it to a vote.
