the live rat the dog brought in is in my oven, the rat appears to intend to stay in the oven forever, I have disassembled most of the oven without successfully displacing the rat, there are no stores open, I have built a DIY live trap out of cardboard but the rat doesn’t seem to be hungry, fml

I'm Jason Reynolds and I plan to run in the Virginia primary for the US Senate seat held by @markwarner.bsky.social next year. I don't really have anything against Senator Warner, I've even voted for him (and will again if he beats me next year). I just like the idea of giving people a choice.

We need $1600 by Oct 28 to help keep a recently housed neighbors power on. This will allow him to start a payment plan he can manage through SSI payments.

It's not just that they're going to strike down a law against conversion therapy, it's that they're going to do it on behalf of made-up claims from a straw plaintiff who can't honestly show the law affected her at all
